Apple's Peek Performance Event was packed with many new announcements and updates. Keep reading on to see what was announced.
New Alpine Green iPhone 13 Finish
There was one last-minute rumor that was right about a new Dark Green iPhone 13 color. Apple called the color Alpine Green, and pre-orders will be available on Friday. The Alpine Green iPhone 13 was themed with green plants and a green lizard with a glitching effect, having the thought that
something revolutionary has come into play with the latest most powerful iPhone ever imagined.

Brand New iPhone SE
Apple also announced a new iPhone SE. It houses two main features: an A15 Bionic chip and 5G. It still has the same 4.7-inch Retina HD display, TouchID, and the same single rear camera. But there some minor upgrades: better battery life, tough ceramic glass on the front and back of the phone, and camera upgrades. And speaking of cameras, the A15 Bionic chip activated the hidden power of the best single-camera system on an iPhone; there are new Photographic Styles like Deep Fusion for better detail, Smart HDR 4, and new adjustments for skin tone and warmth before taking the photo. Even though there were some upgrades to the back camera, there isn't much upgrade to the front-facing camera, though portrait modes and selfie modes may have a minor upgrade with the A15 Bioinc Chip.
The iPhone SE is now priced at $429 and will be available for pre-order on Friday.

Brand New iPad Air
There is a new iPad Air underway. Not only is it a new iPad, but it now uses the M1 chip, which is also used in the iPad Pro. As shown in the screenshot above, the iPad Air now comes with a mix of new features from the iPad mini and the iPad Pro: Center Stage, True Tone Display, and its compatible with all previous products like the Apple Pencil and the Magic Keyboard. It also has support for 5G and it has a TouchID sensor on the top button. I should also mention that it's 60% faster than the previous generation.
I now see that the iPad Air would be a great tablet to get now other than the iPad Pro, if you don't need a LIDAR sensor or an extra camera. The iPad Air is priced at $599 and pre-orders begin Friday.

M1 Ultra
Not only has Apple introduced their fastest chip, they introduced the fastest chip in the world: the M1 Ultra. The chip is two M1 Max chips attached to each other, and this is a revolutionary step up. Anybody in the world could've have done this, so I'm too surprised about the whole design and building process for this. But comparing this to the best PC chip, the M1 Ultra increases in speed faster in a more efficient way, meaning more power for people in studios, in the gaming industry, and it's not a bad chip for some games; it could probably handle a cool life-like Minecraft shader better than a NVIDIA RTX, but Apple probably wouldn't market this as a gaming chip.
Mac Studio and Studio Display
Probably the best announcement Apple has done about a Mac, Apple has announced a new Mac Studio and a Studio Display.
The Mac Studio has an advanced cooling system and it houses the M1 Ultra chip, making it one of the fastest Macs ever. On the back, there are four
lightning ports, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, a HDMI port, and a Pro Audio jack. Apple claims that the cooling system is quiet that you'll barely even be able to here it, and I've heard that phrase many times. You now may be thinking of a Mac Studio for your studio or for personal use, but I
think you'll be better off getting an iMac or Macbook: the Mac Studio plus the M1 Ultra chip costs $3999, but you can order a M1 Max Mac Studio
for $1999, and pre-orders begin Friday.
The Studio Display is the one I found the most interesting: it has a A15 Bionic Chip - remember this is a display - and it has Center Stage Support. I've never heard of a display that housed a smartphone chip. The display is even 5K, not 4K. But these features don't come cheap though: the standard glass display costs $1599 and the Nano-texture glass display costs $1899 and pre-orders begin Friday.

Products Worth Getting
The brand new 5G iPhone SE may be an option for some people who are ready to explore the world of Apple and move away from Android or maybe a long-time iPhone 6 users would be ready to upgrade. I say its worth buying it: you'll be getting iPhone 13-like speeds, 5G, and great camera options, but people already with the previous 4G LTE iPhone SE are just fine with what they have for now, and can start saving money for their next iPhone SE.
On the other hand, you may be tempted to get an iPhone 13 in Alpine Green, but you may want to hold off for now until the fall to get your hands
on the rumored iPhone 14. But if you really need a iPhone now that you can afford, then it would best to get the iPhone SE.
The iPad Air may also be a option for some people, but if you own a iPad Pro or just bought the standard iPad or iPad mini, I think you can hold on just a little bit longer with what you got for a year or two. What about the Mac Studio and the Studio Display? I recommend getting it if you have a studio or business in digital art, video editing, music, game development, or 3D modeling.
