A recent Twitter post shows that Sonic Frontiers may use AMD FSR Image Upscaling on Switch. Nintendo has two first-party games, Splatoon 3 and Nintendo Switch Sports, that already utilize this technology. Also, MyNintendoNews says that Sonic Frontiers may use FSR 1.0, other than the more powerful and updated FSR 2.0.
If Sonic Frontiers does support FSR at release, players should be able to play in graphically intense areas of the game without sacrificing performance. Sonic Frontiers launches on Nintendo Switch and other systems November 8.
