Is This Mario Kart 8 DLC the Mario Kart 9 "Twist"?
The answer is either yes or no. I can't tell if Nintendo meant to make this DLC the twist or not, but I'm just going to say that ever since the Nintendo
Switch has been out, the Mario Kart team has been working hard for 5 years to update the NET code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe since it was ported over
from the WiiU and to draw in the tracks and do some more internal updates. And maybe the past few updates that have come to Mario Kart 8 unexpectedly were the developers activating some of the NET code for this new DLC.
And why would Nintendo abruptly stop sending out new waves of the Booster Course Pass in 2023. What is stopping Nintendo from adding even more waves and fun to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Is it possibly the next-gen Nintendo console? Probably is, since the Nintendo Switch is now starting
to kick the bucket and move on into the tech afterlife, paving the way for a cleaner and sharper console. But that's all just a rumor; it's not like
this is not actually Nintendo's plan.
Be sure to get ready for March 25, and have $25 ready. Or if you already have the Online Expansion Pack, you're good and ready to go.
