Over the years Apple has brought us all a great camera experience on the iPhone. Sometimes we take photos of nature, people, pets, food, and
even products we bought to review. But you may have encountered a situation where you're taking photos of something and you want to upload onto your website, but you can't upload your photo. Then you try again and you run into the same situation until you give up and
go searching on Google. But there is a simple way how to fix that problem.

go searching on Google. But there is a simple way how to fix that problem.
How to Change Photo Format from HEIF to JPEG:
Step 1
Before going to settings, you'll need to check the photo you're trying to upload is either in an HEIF or JPEG format. To do that you'll need to:
From the photo information, you should see the photo format right beside the info about the phone that was used to take the photo you attempted
to upload.
- Be sure you're at the Home Screen
- Go to Photos
- Tap Library, located at the bottom
- Select the photo you attempted to upload
- Use your finger to swipe up to reveal the photo information

Most iPhones by default have photos in the HEIF format. If you see that your photo was taken in the HEIF format, then skip down to step two. If the
photo format does say JPEG, then you should try to go to Apple's Support website or convert your file to another format other than HEIF and JPEG.

Step 2
Now, to change your format setting to JPEG, you'll need to:
in Step 1 to check if your photos are now in JPEG format. Take note that your previous photos you captured will still remain in HEIF format, meaning you might have to retake your photos.
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and select Camera
- Select Formats
- You'll see two options for Camera Capture: High Efficiency and Most Compatible. High Efficiency uses HEIF/HEVC formats and Most Compatible uses JPEG/H.264 formats. You'll want to select Most Compatible if you want your photos to formatted in JPEG, but take note that JPEG takes up more file size.
